After soaking up the energy of the Kimpton Marbella online, paying homage to Antonio Banderas famous sentiment of Marbella being ‘Where time stands still’ ‘Ultra Relajada Sofia’ is born. A fun and humorous concept of the most relaxed woman in Spain, who never takes off her cucumbers, where’s slippers on slippers and doesn’t even know what year it is. The Kimpton is obviously her first choice always. She probably lives there.

The following is just a teaser for the actual execution, we would further develop the idea and scenarios to be even sharper. The spots would be carried by an Antonio Banderas style voiceover, mixing both English and Spanish together. The tone would be subtle humour, not too over the top, not too serious with a touch of added surrealism.

In addition to the hero shoot, we will capture super, super slow motion shots in each sequence for socials to further cement this idea of time standing still, which could become a social campaign in and of itself.

Deliverables
Production runs through a high-end cinema pipeline using Arri systems — the same standard trusted across feature film and luxury commercial work. Motion and stills are captured simultaneously, creating a unified visual language across the property campaign, brand presence, social, website, press, and future residences presentations.
The intention is work that rises above the saturation of standard hotel content. Enduring rather than disposable — a lasting asset that elevates the property and the brand behind it.
Upon completion the film premieres across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and all relevant digital channels, with the shareability and organic conversation it's designed to generate, alongside the option to activate across paid distribution.

The typical timeline runs 3 weeks from pre-production through to final delivery.
The shoot itself requires one day with a potential half day for pickups. Depending on scope, cast and crew will be 5-8 people and may require some light involvement from hotel staff.
Accomodation and catering from the property will help streamline the process—a stay for the director for ¾ nights would be very helpful, subject to availability and ease of the Kimpton.
We'll be conscious of guests and residents throughout the shoot and aim to keep it very low impact. That said, in our experience a shoot like this tends to be a genuine thrill for anyone who happens to witness it.
Production
Steve has led productions at $300K+ USD but equally knows how to make leaner budgets punch well above their weight. I’ll always opt for more budget, but this project could be executed at a very high standard for €15,000
*A 50% deposit would be required to secure booking, with the other 50% due on delivery of finished work.
We'd also look to bring in aligned luxury fashion, swimwear to add further value and partnership contra.
