Seafree 500

An impromptu fashion film

As mentioned I’m an independent academy-accredited director slightly adjacent to the fashion industry, currently developing my debut feature. But this idea just doesn’t feel like branded campaign work rather than simply narrative. I think it would be really cool way of showcasing a drop or new line in a way that cuts through the sameness of content with a weirdo film.

The Storyboards created here are all created with AI, purely for treatment purposes. The film itself will be executed at true feature film standards. It will be an ARRI-led cinema package.

The tone is definitely odd but funny, maybe David Lynch meets kubrick subtle humour.

Lindi’s friends buy her a house warming gift: A Sea free 500, essentially a tiny naked man who lives in a fishbowl.

She’s instantly obsessed. We can’t tell whether she wants to be it, be with it, or own it.

The gemstone reflects Jewel-shaped buildings

She’s transformed and summoned by the Langham/Jewel

She wakes up to the sound of smashing glass, and rushes out to discover the Sea Free Man has escaped.

The jewel is now her Golden ticket… as she shows it at the front desk–fake it ‘til you make it energy…

it unlocks the Chairman…

She soaks up the ocean’s reflection…

The Jewel catches the attention of the bar staff…

accesses the spa…

Hold up… a light from a different jewel splashes her face.
