LUXURY CINEMA ROUND UP

Some noteworthy luxury hospitality films

7 cinematic hospitality films that sing

The following is a selection of hospitality films that genuinely rise to the five-star nature of their properties. The common thread is a level of craft that feels entirely consistent with the offering — every detail considered, every frame intentional. High-end cinematic equipment is used, boundaries are challenged, bags are packed, I’m sold.

Resort film, but make it fashion

What stands out about this campaign is that One&Only have gone all out, treating it like a fashion film. This is ultra luxury, and they understand their market, their aspirations, and how to reflect both in the work. The unannounced fashion partners are included seamlessly. The camera and lighting is cinema grade — likely an Arri Alexa or RED camera was used. No shouting of benefits, just feeling. The soundtrack is rhythmic, momentous, immaculate—really fresh work for the category

All out humour-filled Narrative

The most ambitious production on the list, built around a genuine narrative and professional cast. This nearly belongs on Netflix. It's also a smart example of a hospitality and fashion collaboration, where both brands benefit and production value is elevated naturally through wardrobe, styling and shared creative investment.

What stands out most is its use of humour while still feeling distinctly premium — a balance that's surprisingly rare in hospitality marketing.

Stunning, serious, visceral.

This campaign was shot on a RED camera with a minimal crew — potentially one person, which at this level of production value is very rare. No words, no narration, just an utterly natural approach that lets the culture and place do everything. Exactly what travellers are currently drawn to.

Fun filmic concept

There's a wry smile about this one — never full-blown humour, just enough to let you know it doesn't take itself too seriously. Very high-end equipment, a huge cast, and a real sense of occasion. It upholds the fun and cheekiness that cruise culture does so well, while simultaneously pulling it upmarket.

The feature film director’s piece

Marina Bay Sands have delivered some outstanding films over the past five years, but this one's a standout — directed by filmmaker Celine Song, and not afraid to bend the rules. The camera distortions are dreamlike. A little odd, a little wonderful.

Understated European warmth

The boldness is in the restraint. A fly-on-the-wall film shot in 16mm warmth — the kind of old-world charm that hotels have always had in spades, and that no Airbnb or ultra-modern offering can quite replicate. Every frame unhurried, every detail quietly considered. The food, particularly, is captured beautifully. Like scenes from a film you want to see more of.

Slick

A beautiful confluence of tradition and modernity weaved together seamlessly. Understated yet immense, stunning work.

The curated list here is a window into what's possible when a brands seek cinematic over the status quo, to truly reflect the pristine nature of their offering. Whatever the scope, budget, or brief, we craft work at this level — conceptually rigorous, cinematic in direction, and built entirely around what your brand deserves. From a single immersive film to a full campaign architecture, the approach is always considered, always bespoke, and always designed to leave a lasting impression.
